We are seeking a highly skilled Security Network Consulting Engineer to design, deploy, implement, and manage secure network solutions for our clients. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their security needs, assess network vulnerabilities, and provide robust, scalable security solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in networking and security technologies and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
You will have -
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Information Technology or similar.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Networking and Security Industry in customer facing experience.
- Recent experience in SDWAN and SASE Deployments is a plus
- Extensive knowledge in Firewalls, deployment of firewalls in greenfield and brownfield
- Worked on building security architecture for the organization in greenfield and/or brownfield deployments.
- Vendor Security certifications such as CCIE Security (Cisco), CCSE (Checkpoint), JNCIE-SEC (Juniper), NCE-7/8 (Fortinet)
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH or similar
- Design, integrate, and implement complex network architecture solutions after reviewing the network securityEstablishing security protocols and policies, as well as designing security plans
- Creating a set of rules and security standards;
- Designing policies
- Implementing security measures, providing technical supervision and advice as required.
- Meeting with clients to discuss security measures, provide information, and explained the designed system
- Excellent technical skills for building security architecture aligned with the business's requirements
- Supporting the Sales Team and the Delivery team in the production of proposals and bids and also in ensuring projects go through the proper review and governance process
- Team Player with positive mental attitude.

- Able to handle the work independently with less supervision

- Experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment.

- Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.
You will definitely possess these technical skills –
Security Network Consulting Engineers need to have experience in designing, deploying, and fixing network security, extensive experience with Firewall technology, such as PaloAlto, Checkpoint, Fortigate etc and thorough knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and routing protocols, including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
Vendor certifications (CCIE, CCSE, NCE-7/8 etc)
Scripting in languages, such as Python or equivalent. Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certificates such as Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Cisco CCNA Cloud, Cisco CCNP Cloud, etc.
Bird’s eye view of your role –
As a Security Network Consulting Engineer, you interface with customers to understand their professional requirements and develop technical solutions as per them to attain success in designing and implementing quality solutions. You troubleshoot very complex network issues spanning various types of technologies. You design network configurations, plan and perform elaborate network migrations and upgrades. To analyze and evaluate complex networking issues, you create dummy networks in test laboratories to fix compatibility problems and knotty issues.
You interface with customers to detect their current and future professional and technical needs. You partner with solution specialists to develop and implement security solutions.
You prepare project documentation, included in which are design, deployment, and testing. You work with customers closely on problems and possibilities in their networks’ ecosystems. It would entail analysing data gathered from customers and guiding them to optimize their setup and working environment.
You comply with and support organization’s policies, procedures, and use appropriate tools to deliver its strategies and objectives effectively. You strive to improve continuously by reusing and improving their existing knowledge base and learning new architectures and techniques.
